Add your website to Thig
Enter your company name and website URL so Thig can crawl your pages, research competitors and write your strategy documents.
Each website you add becomes a workspace. A workspace holds your strategy documents, agent work, integrations and team. You add a website by entering your company name and URL on the welcome screen, then clicking Start my analysis.
Add your first website
- After you sign in for the first time, you see the Welcome. screen marked Step 1 of 2.
- Enter your Company name, for example
Acme. - Enter your Website, for example
yourcompany.com. You can leave outhttps://. - Click Start my analysis.
Thig checks that the address is reachable. If it is not, you see "We can't reach that address. Use your public website URL." Fix the URL and try again.
Which URL to use
- Use the domain your customers visit, such as
acme.com, not a deep subpage. - Staging sites behind a password cannot be crawled.
- If your marketing site and your app live on different domains, add the marketing site.
Add another website later
- Open Settings and choose Websites.
- Add the new site with a name and URL.
- Thig creates a new workspace and starts onboarding for it.
Switch between workspaces with the workspace switcher in the top bar.
Change the URL of an existing workspace
- Open Settings, then Websites, and select the website.
- Edit Website URL and save.
- Thig shows "The website changed. Re-run onboarding to refresh the strategy documents for the new site." Re-run onboarding if the site is genuinely different. Approved work is kept.
Delete a website
Open Settings, Account & Security and use Delete website in the danger zone. This removes its strategy documents, agent items, runs, connectors, team and chat right away and cannot be undone. Only owners can delete a website.
Next step
Read What happens during onboarding to see what Thig does while the analysis runs.
Questions about this page
Can I add more than one website?
Yes. Each website becomes its own workspace with its own strategy, agents and team. Free and Pro include one website and Business includes up to five.
What if Thig cannot reach my site?
Use your public URL, not a staging or localhost address. The site must load on the public internet without a login.
