Reddit Agent

The Reddit Agent watches the subreddits your buyers read, finds threads where your product is a genuine answer, and drafts helpful replies. You review every draft and post it yourself, so your account stays in your hands.

Reply to a thread (no API needed)

This works for everyone, with no Reddit connection.

1. Open the thread on Reddit.
2. In the Reddit Agent, go to Opportunities. Reply to a thread is the first card.
3. Paste the Thread link, the Title and the Post text. Add Top comments if you want the reply to fit the discussion.
4. Click Write reply.

Thig scores the thread, writes a reply in your voice and opens it in Drafts. It never contacts Reddit, so nothing can be blocked. Edit the draft, approve it, and post it yourself.

Set up where to listen (for scanning)

1. Open the Reddit Agent and go to Settings.
2. Under Where to listen, add Subreddits to scan.
3. Add Keywords: the phrases buyers use when they have the problem you solve, not your brand name.
4. Click Suggest with AI to get subreddit and keyword ideas from your strategy.
5. Save.

You can also set Priority subreddits, Search keywords and a country filter in Settings, Agents, Reddit.

Scan for threads (needs Reddit API access)

Automatic scanning reads Reddit through its official API, which is coming later. Until then the Scan subreddits button stays secondary and a scan can fail with a prompt to connect Reddit. When access is available, connect Reddit in Settings, Integrations.

1. Go to Opportunities and click Scan subreddits.
2. Recent threads that match your keywords appear under Threads to review.
3. Open a thread to read it in full.

Draft a reply

1. On a thread in your list, click Generate reply (threads you add by hand are listed there too).
2. Optionally add a goal, such as "ask how others handle onboarding".
3. The draft appears in Drafts. Edit it until it reads like you.
4. Approve it.

Click Draft another reply for a different angle.

Draft a post

1. In Drafts, choose Draft post.
2. Pick the Subreddit and enter a Post title.
3. The agent writes the Draft body. Edit and approve.

Publish

Thig does not post to Reddit for you. When you click publish, it opens the thread and copies your text. Paste it, check it once more, and submit.

Write replies that last

• Answer the question first. Mention your product only when it truly helps.
• Disclose that you work on the product when you mention it.
• Follow each subreddit's rules and Reddit's content policy.
• Add rules like "never link in the first reply" in Agent settings.
