UGC Video Agent
Use the Thig UGC Video Agent to turn a brief into short-form video concepts and scripts with hooks, voiceover, captions and a shot list.
The UGC Video Agent writes short-form video concepts and finished scripts in the style of user-generated content. Each script includes a hook, voiceover, on-screen text, captions and a shot list. It does not render video. This agent is in beta.
Write a brief
- Open the UGC Video Agent and go to the Brief tab.
- Fill in:
- Audience: who the video is for.
- Product angle: the one benefit to show.
- Hook style: how the first seconds grab attention.
- Length of the video.
- Aspect ratios: 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9.
- Call to action.
- Click Generate batch.
Review concepts and scripts
Results appear in Concepts & scripts. New concepts land in the Inbox and finished scripts in Drafts.
Open a script to see:
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| Concept | The idea in one or two lines |
| Full voiceover | Every spoken line |
| On-screen text and captions | Text overlays and subtitles |
| Shot list | Timings, framing, action and prompts per scene |
| Image prompt | For an image generator, not rendered video |
| B-roll prompt | Ideas for supporting footage |
Export
Use Export to download the script. The JSON export is the shot list: timings, framing, on-screen text and prompts per scene. Hand it to a creator, an editor or a video tool.
Schedule new scripts
In Settings, Agents, UGC videos, set how often the agent drafts new video scripts. Turn on Auto-generate to create drafts on that schedule without asking.
Tips
- Keep one idea per video. Short videos rarely have room for two.
- Put the hook in the first line of the voiceover and on screen at the same time.
- Pair scripts with the Influencer Agent when you work with creators.
