Follow your agents in the Agent Log
The Agent Log is a live terminal that shows what Thig's agents are doing. Learn how to open it, read it and answer questions inside it.
The Agent Log is a live, terminal-style feed of everything your agents are doing in a workspace. It shows crawls, research steps, drafts being written, monitor runs and errors as they happen. Open it whenever you want to know what Thig is working on.
Open and close the log
- Open any workspace.
- In the dark top bar, click >_ Logs.
- The log drawer opens under the top bar. Click >_ Logs again to close it.
Thig remembers whether you left the log open for each workspace. The log keeps streaming while it is closed, so nothing is missed.
Read the log
Lines are color coded so you can scan quickly:
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| White, bold | A command or a new task starting |
| Cyan | A step inside a task |
| Green | A step finished successfully |
| Amber | A warning, such as a skipped monitor |
| Red | An error |
A blinking cursor at the bottom means an agent is still working. If nothing has happened yet, the log shows Waiting for activity...
Answer questions inside the log
During onboarding, Thig may ask you something directly in the log:
- Confirm social handles. Check the X and LinkedIn handles Thig found, edit them, or add them.
- Connect Google. Connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics so the strategy uses real data.
Each question has a Do it later countdown. If it runs out, Thig continues without that input. You can still connect Google later from Account, as described in Google Search Console.
What you will typically see
- Onboarding: crawling pages, detecting your category, finding competitors, writing each strategy document.
- Writer pipeline: each step from Brief to SEO, with the score at the end.
- Monitors: a Reddit scan finding new threads, a weekly SEO audit, an analytics sync.
- Publishing: confirmation that a post or article was sent, or a note that the channel is not connected.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing new appears. The stream reconnects on its own after a network drop. Reload the page if it stays quiet for a long time while you expect activity.
- A red error line. Read the message, then retry the action from the agent page. Errors in one agent do not affect others.

Questions about this page
Does closing the Agent Log stop the agents?
No. The log only shows activity. Agents and monitors keep running whether it is open or closed.
Why does the log say a monitor was skipped?
A monitor is skipped when the workspace has reached its AI budget for the month. Check Settings, Usage.
