Coding Agent
The Thig Coding Agent turns SEO audit and GEO issues into code patches and opens GitHub pull requests for you to review and merge.
The Coding Agent turns issues from your SEO audit and GEO checks into code fixes. Each fix is a patch with the file, the diff and an explanation. With GitHub connected, the agent opens a pull request you can review and merge. The Coding Agent is in beta.
Before you start
- Run an audit in the SEO Agent and, ideally, a check in the GEO Agent. The Coding Agent works from their findings.
- Connect GitHub and pick a repository. Without GitHub, you can still copy each patch.
Generate fixes
- Open the Coding Agent from your workspace.
- In Select issues to fix, review the list. Issues are grouped as From the SEO audit and From GEO visibility.
- Tick the issues you want fixed, or click Select all.
- Generate fixes. Each selected issue becomes a patch proposal using the heavy model.
- Review the results in Fixes.
Typical fixes include missing or long title tags, missing meta descriptions, canonical tags, Open Graph tags, structured data and image alt text.
Review a patch
- Click Show patch to read the diff.
- Check the explanation and the file it changes.
- Approve it, or dismiss it if it is wrong for your codebase.
Open a pull request
- With GitHub connected and a repository selected, click Publish on an approved fix.
- The agent opens a pull request in your repository.
- Review, test and merge it in GitHub as you would any change.
If GitHub is connected but no repository is selected, the agent asks you to pick one in Account.
Without GitHub
Click Copy patch and apply it yourself, or hand it to your developer.
Track progress
The summary at the top shows Fixable issues, Patches drafted, Approved and Pull requests.
Tips
- Start with site-wide issues. One template fix can correct hundreds of pages.
- Run your tests before merging. The agent cannot see your build pipeline.
- Re-run the SEO audit after merging to confirm the issue is gone.
