Sitemap.xml generator from a list of URLs
This sitemap generator turns a pasted list of URLs into a valid sitemap.xml that follows the sitemaps.org protocol. It removes duplicates, rejects invalid or mixed-domain URLs, escapes special characters, and can add a lastmod date. Download the file and submit it in Google Search Console.
Absolute URLs from one host. Only canonical pages you want indexed.

What belongs in a sitemap
Include canonical, indexable pages that return 200. Leave out redirects, noindex pages, filtered URLs and duplicates. The format and limits (50,000 URLs or 50 MB per file) are defined at sitemaps.org, and Google explains how it uses them in Search Central's sitemap docs.
Do priority and changefreq matter?
Google has said it ignores priority and changefreq, and uses lastmod when it is consistently accurate. This tool only writes loc and optional lastmod for that reason.
Tell crawlers where it is
Add a Sitemap: line to robots.txt with the robots.txt generator, and submit the file in Search Console.
Frequently asked questions
How many URLs can a sitemap hold?
Up to 50,000 URLs or 50 MB uncompressed per file. Larger sites split into several sitemaps listed in a sitemap index.
Should I include every page?
No. Include only canonical pages you want in search results. Thin, duplicate or noindex pages send mixed signals.
Does this tool crawl my site?
No. It only formats the URLs you paste, entirely in your browser.
