Automated SEO fixes on GitHub, as pull requests you review
The thig GitHub integration lets the Coding Agent ship technical SEO and AI-search fixes as pull requests. You connect a fine-grained token with Contents access to one repository. The agent writes the patch, opens a pull request and waits. Nothing merges unless you or your team approve it in GitHub.
thigWhat does the GitHub integration do in thig?
Fixes as code, not tickets
Missing meta tags, schema, sitemap entries and similar issues become patches in your repo.
Normal review flow
Every change is a pull request, so your CI, previews and reviewers run as usual.
Content in the repo
For sites that keep posts in Markdown, the Writer Agent can commit articles to the repository.
How do I connect GitHub to thig?
- A GitHub repository for your website
- A fine-grained personal access token with Contents read and write on that repository
Create a fine-grained token
In GitHub settings, create a fine-grained personal access token limited to your site's repository with Contents read and write.
Connect in thig
Go to Account, then Integrations, choose GitHub and paste the token.
Pick the repository
Select the repository the Coding and Writer agents should use.
Review the first pull request

What can thig access?
Connections are used only after you approve a draft, and you can disconnect any time from your workspace settings.
- Reads and writes repository contents on branches it creates
- Opens pull requests; never merges them
- Scoped to the repositories your token allows
GitHub integration questions
Can't find yours? Email hello@thig.ai and a person on the team will reply.
Can AI fix SEO issues in my code?
Yes, for issues that live in code such as meta tags, structured data, sitemaps, robots rules and image attributes. thig's Coding Agent writes the patch and opens a pull request for a person to review.
Will thig push to my main branch?
No. It works on its own branch and opens a pull request. Merging is always your decision.
What token permissions does thig need?
A fine-grained token with Contents read and write on the repository you choose. Limit it to that one repository.
What if I do not use GitHub?
You can still generate fixes. The Coding Agent shows each patch so you can copy it into your own workflow.
