Writer Agent
Use the Thig Writer Agent to plan article ideas, run the brief to publish pipeline, score SEO and send drafts to your CMS.
The Writer Agent plans and writes long-form articles in your brand voice, scores them for SEO and sends them to your CMS. Each article runs through a pipeline of steps you can watch, re-run and edit.
Get ideas
- Open the Writer Agent and go to Ideas.
- Click Generate month to get a month of article ideas from your content strategy and SEO keywords.
- Briefs sent from the SEO Agent appear here too.
- Pick an idea to write it, or dismiss the ones you do not want.
To skip ideas, type a keyword in the quick write box, for example utm naming conventions.
The article pipeline
Click Run pipeline on an idea. The agent runs these steps in order:

| Outline | H1 and H2/H3 plan with word budgets and an FAQ |
| Draft | The full article in your brand voice, streamed as it is written |
| Scrub | Removes AI tells: a fixed pass, then a light rewrite of flagged paragraphs |
| Meta | Title up to 60 characters, description up to 155, slug, Article and FAQ JSON-LD |
| Links | Inserts internal links from the Brand kit's links map |
| SEO | A score with a checklist for keyword, structure, readability, links, meta and schema |
| Publish | Sends the article to your CMS, or export it. Always manual |
Each step shows its status. Use Run step or Re-run step to repeat one step, or Re-run all. If the SEO score flags a problem, the checklist points to the step that can fix it.
Edit the article
Open the article to edit it directly. You can also enter an instruction such as "shorter and more concrete" and the agent rewrites the draft. Copy HTML puts the formatted article on your clipboard.
The Brand kit
The Brand kit holds the files the Writer reads: brand voice, style guide, SEO guidelines, internal link targets and more. Thig generates it from your website, strategy and search data. Click Rebuild brand kit to refresh it.
You can also import your own markdown guides, such as brand-voice.md, style-guide.md, seo-guidelines.md or internal-links-map.md. Imported files are never touched by a rebuild.
Publish
- Connect one CMS: WordPress (Self-Hosted), Webflow, Sanity or HubSpot. Only one article destination can be connected at a time.
- Approve the article and click Publish to your CMS.
- Review the draft in your CMS and publish it there.
You can also commit articles to a folder in a GitHub repository.
Settings
In Settings, Agents, you can set the article length and turn on AI hero image, which adds an image prompt to each article's front matter.
Questions about this page
Does the Writer publish articles live?
Publish is always a manual step, and articles are sent to your CMS as drafts by default.
Can I use my own style guide?
Yes. Import your own markdown guides into the Brand kit. Imported files are never overwritten by a rebuild.
