Ask Thig
Use Ask Thig on any page: ask about what you see, attach files and links, let it open pages for you, save drafts and memories, and extend it with skills and MCP servers.
Ask Thig is a direct line to your AI CMO. Ask about strategy, content or results, attach a file or a link for it to read, or ask it to draft something. Thig knows your strategy documents and can save ready-to-use copy as a draft in the right agent's queue.
Start a conversation
- On any page, click the Ask Thig button in the bottom right corner, or press Ctrl+J (Cmd+J on a Mac). A side panel opens.
- Type in the Ask Thig anything box.
- Press Enter to send. Use Shift+Enter for a new line.
The panel stays open while you move between pages and tabs, so the conversation carries on. Press Esc or the close button to hide it. You can also open the full-page view from Ask Thig in the left sidebar. Both show the same conversation.
It knows the page you are on
Every message from the side panel tells Thig which page and tab you are on, the item open in a drawer, and the text on the screen. Ask "what should I do here?" or "rewrite this post" without copying anything.
It can take you there
Ask Thig to open something, for example "show my Reddit drafts" or "open my dismissed X posts". It opens the page or tab, opens the item when it is one draft, and outlines what to look at. It never approves, schedules, publishes or deletes anything: those buttons stay yours.
Attach a file
- Click the file button next to the message box.
- Pick up to five files: PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), CSV, text, or a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP image. Each file can be up to 15 MB, and images up to 5 MB.
- Thig reads the text of each file on our server and sends it with your message. Images are sent to the model as images. Very long files are cut to their first part, and the chip says so.
Files are not stored. The conversation keeps only the file names, so attach a file again if you want Thig to look at it in a later message.
While Thig works, you see Thinking.... Answers stream in as they are written.
Good things to ask
- "Which channel should I focus on this month, and why?"
- "Rewrite our homepage headline in three ways for technical buyers."
- "Summarise what changed in our Search Console data this week."
- "Draft a LinkedIn post about our new pricing page."
Attach a link
- Click the paperclip, labelled Attach a link.
- Paste a public URL, such as
https://example.com/article. - Send your message. Thig reads the page and uses it in its answer.
Only http and https links work.
Save drafts and memories
Thig can act on what you discuss:
- Drafts. When you ask for ready-to-use copy, Thig saves it as a draft in the matching agent, for example the X or LinkedIn queue. The message shows Open so you can jump straight to it.
- Memories. When you share a lasting fact, such as "Our launch date is 14 March", Thig saves it as a memory and uses it in later chats.
To review or delete memories, open Settings, Personalization and look under Your memories.
Rate answers
Use the thumbs up (Good answer) and thumbs down (Bad answer) buttons under each reply to flag answers that hit or missed the mark.
Add skills and MCP servers
Open Settings, Skills & MCP to extend Ask Thig:
- Skills are playbooks Thig follows. Paste a link to a
SKILL.mdfile, or paste the markdown itself. Enabled skills are added to the Ask Thig prompt. - External MCP servers give Thig extra tools. Enter a Name, the Server URL (must start with
https://) and an optional Bearer token. Tokens are stored encrypted and never shown again.
You can remove a skill or server at any time.
